Grocery Store Initiatives
 In 2005 GROW Nebraska™ launched a new service – Grocery Store Initiative. The purpose of the Grocery Store Initiative is to connect high growth potential Nebraska companies with large volume buyers. Companies learn the ins and outs of selling in pallets instead of cases.
GROW Nebraska™ serves as a “distributor” or “middle man” making sure companies are ready to work with volume buyers. In addition, gift baskets are prepared that feature the companies to help establish brand and customer loyalty. GROW Nebraska works with buyers on promoting products and making consumers aware the products are available at their locations. GROW Nebraska™ member James Gustafson of Pur Java Coffee Company in Lincoln is the project coordinator.
