Economic Gardening
GROW Nebraska now provides technical assistance to small Nebraska businesses through the Small Business Innovation Act (LB345) Nebraska Economic Gardening Program administered by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. This legislation provides funds to GROW to help small businesses with technical assistance including web page design, social media training and set up, access to information tools, state and national demographic trends, competitive intelligence, marketing lists, strategy, analysis, capital referrals and labor analysis, etc.
Eligible businesses are:
- Nebraska-based growth businesses defined as high growth, early-stage companies that are developing and commercializing a technology product, process, or service
- Between 5 and 50 employees
- Have annual sales revenue between $500,000 and $2.5 million
